“Great but pool service area needs some attention”

Jordan at the pool was SO great, as was sabrina and mathew . Jordan on particular was so sweet, kind, attentive and just an all around pleasure to interact with. He was very helpful and mindful of any needs we may have. With that being said, Everyone else could use some training on etiquette, being helpful and giving the type of service one would expect from a st Regis. Our first day was so weird we were approached by a worker and asked if we needed anything. We said yes we would like to order 2 drinks (non alc). She says I can’t help, I’ll need to ask a server or the bartender. We said OK. We see her walking over to the bartender who is laughing gleefully and she returns to let us know that if we want any drinks, wecan come up to the bar and grab them ourselves. Total joke. When a server finally did come to us he said no of course I can get you your drinks no problem. You’re on vacation. You shouldn’t have to get your own drinks. It was the weirdest experience. It feels like there are so many people training or working here but half of them cant actually help you with anything. Other than that, the service inside the hotel was great, the rooms are amazing and this is our second time and we will definitely be back.
